The company is equipped with complete production and testing facilities. Production equipment includes 25 sets of Automatic Pressure Gelation (APG) equipment (18 sets from Shanghai Coal Research Institute), 1 set of APG automatic material mixing system, 1 laser marking machine, and a fully shielded test hall. The full range of testing equipment covers partial discharge shielding room, DSC glass transition temperature tester (imported from Germany), high-low temperature test chamber, universal material testing machine, viscometer, helium mass spectrometer leak detector, horizontal & vertical combustion tester, X-ray flaw detector, and 12kV~126kV voltage withstand test equipment.

Since 2011, Shuguang Electric has strived to build a production base for insulating parts of solid insulated ring main units. After years of continuous optimization and improvement, insulating parts for multiple solid insulated switch solutions have been applied in domestic and overseas markets for many years with sound performance records. The KYN61-40.5kV series shielded insulating parts is a key research project of Zhejiang Electric Power Corporation, and a patented product jointly developed by Ningbo Electric Power Bureau and Hangzhou Shuguang Electric Co., Ltd. The product has passed the type test by Xi’an High Voltage Apparatus Research Institute and the appraisal of new products & new technologies organized by Zhejiang Electric Power Bureau.
